Contentious – including Restrictive Covenants
The emphasis of the firm’s employment practice is on contentious work for employers, although we also act for employees. We act frequently in unfair dismissal and discrimination matters in Employment Tribunals. We also act in wrongful dismissal and contractual disputes in the High Court and county court, with particular emphasis on claims to enforce and resist restrictive covenants.

Non-contentious
We advise a number of clients on non-contentious employment issues, in particular national organisations by whom we are retained. This aspect of the practice involves drafting and updating written guidance for employers and pro forma contracts and notices, and providing procedural advice in major organisational restructuring, including redundancies and transfers of undertakings.

We have particular experience in advising on compliance with the Working Time Regulations, National Minimum Wage Regulations and Health and Safety at Work legislation.
