Surini is a dual qualified Solicitor who completed her education and legal training in Sri Lanka before obtaining her qualification as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
Following her graduation she embarked on a global management trainee programme within a prominent corporation.
She subsequently gained valuable experience within Commercial and Litigation Private Practices and In-House legal departments.
Prior to joining Knights in early 2023 Surini worked in the Dispute Resolution team at a renowned corporation defending complex high value liability claims. She also contributed to various international projects on dealing with data protection issues.
Surini holds a LLB degree from the University of Colombo and an LLM degree from the University of Queensland.
Outside of work Surini enjoys reading, walking, baking and time with her family.
